ABLAZE
I am obsessing over a song.
You know - playing it five times in a row, several days in a row. Looking up everything I may not have already known about the artist, watching her in interviews, listening to all of her music again,
yet - still just returning to the one song.
Memorizing the lyrics.
Dancing wildly to it in my kitchen while I belt it out (with partner gone and shutters closed.)
ALL of the lyrics in this song are amazing. I could write a newsletter to you that waxes poetic about much of it.
Of course, I am hearing the artist’s inimitable (truly, it is so hard to sing with her) voice and the music, as I read the words. Maybe it is time you did that too. But if you do, come back, because there is something entirely different coming up…

Right?!
This song pulled me out of the doldrums. I was in a place of only focusing on what is wrong in the world and how little I was doing about it. I was stuck.
Also, I did a very tough liver cleanse with Ray for the past 9 days and I am re-newed, seeing through fresh eyes. The fulcrum has swung towards hope.
